2. Hone your skills!

This is the utmost essential New Year’s resolution you should take!

Skills are the most important things for how you portray yourself as an individual. These skills can make us or break us.

Skills make an individual a millionaire or poor.

This pandemic has taught us a lot about the importance of skills. People are doing daily mundane jobs that do not require much of the skills. A lot of people lost jobs in this pandemic and when they try to find a new job then they got to realize that they are lacking the required skills.

In today’s world, the problem is not the jobs but the actual problem is the skillset. Lack of skills and desire to learn something new is a major concern.

Our Education System has become obsolete. It is teaching us the same things people learned a few decades ago which we do not require now. The education system is changing and we also need to change ourselves.

We need to work upon the skills that are thriving and will help us in becoming successful shortly.

The Skills that are thriving: –

1. Public Relations: –This is one of the utmost essential things today. We need to maintain our network as our net worth is determined by the network we have. This skill includes such as Communication skills, personality development, and interpersonal skills such as Emotional Quotient(EQ).

2. Digital Marketing: — Digital Marketing is one of the most thriving skills of today. This is a blue ocean that one needs to tap upon. This contains blogging, affiliate marketing, influencer marketing, YouTuber as well as various fields. To learn more about Digital Marketing you can contact me.

A person with a growth mindset understands that their abilities and intelligence can be developed and they know their effort to build skills will result in higher achievement. They will, therefore, take on challenges, learn from mistakes, and actively seek new knowledge.

5. Analytical (critical) thinking: — A person with critical thinking skills can suggest innovative solutions and ideas, solve complex problems using reasoning and logic and evaluate arguments. The first step in critical thinking is to analyze the flow of information from various resources. After observing, someone who is a strong analytical thinker will rely on logical reasoning rather than emotion, collect the pros/cons of a situation and be open-minded to the best possible solution. People with strong analytic thinking will be needed to navigate the human/machine division of labor.

The rest of the required skills of the near future according to Forbes.

3. Develop a Growth Mindset

Have you ever thought that why only 3–5 % of people in this world are successful?

Most of us think that they are having a silver spoon or they might get lucky. But actually, this is not the case. The main reason is the mindset.

Most people are caught up in their limiting beliefs. They do not have the ability to think from a new perspective. They are not having a real growth mindset. This is the major distinction between successful and unsuccessful people.

Do you know what is the main problem?

The main problem is the ability to unlearn and relearn. Many people learn and then the thinking for the whole life comes from the limited learnings and beliefs they are having.

The actual growth mindset is to inculcate the ability to unlearn and relearn.

Everyone should develop this ability to thrive in life! This is one of the most important New Year’s Resolution you should have this year.
